What Causes Slight Burning Sensation In My Throat?

I have a slight burning sensation in my throat after ingesting and possibly swallowing a very very small amount of fabric conditioner. This happened 55 minutes ago. have rinsed, spitted and gargled with water and drunk half a glass of milk. No other symtoms. Should I do anything else or will this pass? Not sure if burning is too strong a word.
