What Causes Slight Discoloration On Eyes And Side Of Nose?

My daughters right eye look like she had put on a very light blue eyeshadow in the crease of her eye. I try to wipe it off an it wouldn t come off, I figured it was from a marker or something. It s been about 5 days now an it has got worse, it s gone over to the side of her nose kinda an it s like under her eye is starting to turn red. Do u have any idea of what it could be?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

The condition of your child eye is not very clear from the description provided by you. It can be some infection which is now worsening and the lid is getting inflamed. It will require detailed examination preferably by an ophthalmologist to identify the cause. and the treatment required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saurabh Mittal, Ophthalmologist
