What Causes Slight Pain In The Abdominal Area?

I under went open surgery for hernia about 8 years back. think mesh was filled. Now for the past2-3 weeks I am having slight pain where stitches were done and also some peculiar pain and pressure inside the tummy where the operation was done. what should i do. what remedies should i follow. Also there is slight pain below the abdomen on the right side for more than 6 years. what can it be. Sometimes it is heavy, at times I feel there is nothing at all. but when there is change in climate change, there is slight pain and when the climate settles down, i feel normal. what can this be. please advise
