What Causes Slight Right-sided Chest Pain?

Dear Respected Doctor, I felt light pain in my right chest 7 months back and angiogram was made and reported a 90% blockage in the artery. My age is 51 years and I have been using medicines of cholesterol for 6 years. Recently, angioplasty was made perfectly and now I can walk and go up and down in staircases. No effect after the PCI. How many days do I need rest after angioplasty with a 2.5mmx38mm stent in small artery. Best Regards

Hello,

You can rest a couple of weeks and return gradually to your daily physical activity. I would just recommend avoiding straining physical activity.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
