What Causes Slight Spotting On The 19th Day Of Taking I-Pill?
I m 23 years old I took an I pill within 24 hours of having unprotected sex. I bled from the 7th day of taking the pill to the 13th day Then it stopped But again started a little spotting on the 19th day Is this normal? I can tell these aren t my periods It s still the withdrawal blood. But after stopping once it started again. Please help me
The I-pill will not cause bleeding at 19th day of intake, but it is the alteration in your hormone cycle which pause you to get intermittent spotting, which is normal for a period of one menses cycle. From next month, you will get normal menses cycle without any problems for sure. Do take extra precautions to avoid further intake of I pills with unprotected sex.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
