What Causes Slow Physical Movements In An Elderly Man?

My father is 78, and in the last year, he movements have become very, very slow compared to a year and a half ago. Everyone is commenting on it, so it is very noticeable. He was fairly active before that. He has Lyme Disease. Could it be from that? He was checked for Parkinsons and a few other things (not sure of exactly what). His oxygen level is good. Not sure about arteries going to his brain, wondering if it could be cardiovascular.
