General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is understandable to be concerned. If the imaging has not shown any structural reason for the slurred speech, you may want to consider seeing a speech therapist for assessment and treatment.

The main concern with narrowing of the areas of the spine is pain and neurological symptoms.

If you are not currently having symptoms then treatment mainly consists of monitoring but if symptoms are present and surgery is not an option then you may need to consider medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
