About mid day I stopped to order a froste at Wendy s drive through. I was surprise when I could not give my order clearly, and the words chocolate and other words were not clear. It was almost like trying talk with an ice cube was causing me to slur and mispronounce my words yet I had had nothing other than Mexican food luch some minutes before. I barely got the order out and drove home and told my wife. We chose to go to the Emergency Clinic (Methodist on hwy 6), vitals OK, but they insisted on an C? not MRI to see if the numbness in my jaw and left side of my face to my eye was due to a mini strake. That was negative. They wanted me to go to their hospital in an ambulance for other tests, I refused and came home to see my doctor tomorrow. 6 hours later speech has improved still slight numbness.
