What Causes Slurred Speech?

Lately my husband has trouble pronouncing some words. This seems to be random and we usually laugh it off as getting older. He is 68. No new or chronic medical conditions other than high cholesterol for which he takes a station. Should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should consider visiting a neurologist because it seems like he is suffering a TIA and needs further evaluation. A neurologist should decide for treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
 Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
