General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
The description of symptoms indicate a severe allergy to to something like a bite from some insect or organism in the water or some chemical in the water.

It is advisable to use anti allergic medicines like fexofenadine hydrochloride which are effective in treatment of allergic reactions like yours. As its very itchy, rather than waiting it is advisable to go to ER as intramuscular or intravenous medications act faster than oral ones. Also let the doctors examine you with all appropriate history so that you will be treated effectively as early as possible.

Hope this helps. Feel free to contact for any further query in the future.
