What Causes Small Black Specs Like Discharge In Urine?
i am a 59 y/o male i do have high blood pressure and am a diabetic i take Lasix,and Flomax (generic) i also take 20 units of Lantus. I recently noticed that in my urine little black specs maybe like granuales what would that be from should i get an antibiotic (Keflex) is the begining of a urinary infection? i am concerned and would really like to see if i should worry about this?

The presence of black specks in urine is not normal at all. So please get a routine and microscopic examination of urine done. Then based on the report one can decide whether there is further medication needed or if there UTI. Also, drink enough water. Do get the urine tested.
