What Causes Small Brown Discharge During 9 Weeks Pregnancy?

Hi I am 9 weeks pregnant. I ve had 2 u/s heard my twins heartbeats and movement. I had light pink discharge when I woke up today. I went back to the bathroom 10 mins later to see if it was still there. But it was kind of dark red with a small clot. Ever since I haven t had any bleeding, but instead small amounts of brown discharge. And it s only when I wipe. I have had no cramping or pain. I ve been a little worried, but I had a long activity filled day yesterday at the lake. Maybe I over did it? Or is this normal?

Hi,
Thanks.. Some patients might have minimal spotting in the 1st trimester.. But for confirmation that ur pregnancy is healthy get a scan done to see for Fetal cardiac activity and for subchorionic hemorrhage.. Presence of subchorionic hemorrhage may cause bleeding which needs a follow up but most of the cases it will resolve by itself..
