What Causes Small Bump On My Lower Lip?

I have a small bump on my lower lip that most people would hardly notice. It's about the same color as my lip, but sometimes appears to have a bit of white color to it. Just today, i realized that it is pulsating a noticeable amount along with my heart beat. Just curious of what this could be and what the treatments are. I thought it was just a cold sore.

Since how long you have the bump? is it painful?
Are there any other symptoms associated?
This could be due to infection or trauma.
I would suggest you to get it examined, based upon which the treatment will be decided.
