What Causes Small Bumps At The Bottom Of The Rib Cage?
I ve had pain in my right side under my rib cage and back for about 3 weeks now, and recently discovered about 3 perfectly aligned bumps the size of a pea just at the bottoms of my rib cage. I saw a doctor and he said it was a bacterial infection and did no x rays or anything. Is this something that I should see another doctor for?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have small bumps at the bottom of the rib cage . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like indigestion , acid reflux , kidney stones , pancreatitis , spleen problem or angina pectoris . The bump can also occur due to hernia . Hernia can cause severe acid reflux .I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , kidney function test along with physical examination to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe digestive enzymes , omeprazole , ornidazole or laxative . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem . Doctor may also recommend surgery for hernia . For now eat light , non spicy , take light walk after every meal and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
