What Causes Small Growth On The Outer Wall Of The Anus With Swelling?

There has been small painless growth on the outer wall of my anus, but when I spread my anus apart to get a better look I realized a section of the anus opening was swelled up and looked almost puffy or bubbly. It s painless when I touch it but it explains that I had some constant itching and some pain revolving my anus. When I look at my anus naturally the puffy part looks like it goes back inside my anus, and out whenever I spread the hole partially open. It s not painful really, but it makes me nervous since I don t know what it could be. I don t think it s a hemorrhoid or an anal blister. Does anyone have any idea what it could be and how I can treat it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There are a few possibilities that it can be. These include skin Tag, hemorrhoids, fistula, viral wart or a polyp. The diagnosis can be made straight forward by looking to it. So you should see your doctor who would examine you and tell you what it is likely to be.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
