What Causes Small Hard Itchy Lump On The Back Of Neck?
hello I have a pea size lump on the back of my neck on the right side. It is hard and immovable and not painful when I press on it. I have had an awful time with some form of dermatitis on my head and this area where the lump is is particularly itchy. I have had this lump for close to 1 year now and it hasn t got any bigger. Not sure what to do? Thanks, Sarah
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
You are reporting to : - have a previous history of dermatitis - have a large itchy lump on back of your neck for over a year
Taking all these into account, I can say that the lump is due to dermatitis. A further investigation by dermatologist is advised together with skin biopsy to determine the right diagnosis and treatment strategy.
Hope it was of help! Dr.Albana
