What Causes Small, Hard, Purple Lumps In Each Of Middle Fingers?
I have a small, hard, purple lump in each of my middle finger. Right hand just below the second joint and the left hand (more visible) between the second joint and the third (just before the palm). The right hand I have had for a least a week. The left I just noticed this morning. Painful for the first few days.

I really appreciate your concern such lesion could be due to infection and initially this need to be kept under the observation for some time because this would comes around on its own if not then this can be treated with antibiotic and analgesic and best option would be "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day and Cefdinir 300 mg twice in day for five days hope this information helps take care
