What Causes Small Lesions On Upper Thighs,buttocks And Abdomen Inspite Of Taking Cipro?

Hi I have some small leisons (white headed pimples) on my upper thighs, buttocks and side of abdomen. I thought that it might be staff. I went to the dr. and was treated for staff infection with doxycycline for 10 days. They then said that it wasn t a staff infection but some other skin infection and put me on Cipro for 7 days. The leisions went away. I finished the cipro 8 days ago. Yesterday, the leisions stated to appear again. They are itchy and sore and are kind of grouped together on my buttocks, and lower side of my abdomen. Any thoughts?

Hi Dear,

Small lesions on upper thighs,buttocks and abdomen because of infection when clogged pores gets filled with sebum, dead skin and bacteria, it gets infected.

I would suggest you to

- Apply aloe vera gel before going to bed.

- Start with Accutane which is safe to use and use it for short term only. Don't depend on this medication for long run.

- Drink 8-9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.

If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course.
