General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. The bump could be due to bartholinitis or boil from bacterial infection. Lack of proper hygiene or dysbacteriosis can be the reason for this. You can do hot fomentation locally on the area. After that you can apply Betadine ointment. If the bump is remaining like that and if there is more pain then puss build up will be possible and in such case it should be drained by a small incision. You can approach your GP or Gynecologist in such case. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks
