General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the small painful fatty tissue knot on the head is seemingly lipoma which is benign soft tissue condition. There is no medical cure for this issue, if you want it cured, decide for a day care procedure of excision surgery under local anesthesia with an expert consultant surgeon. If your consultant thinks so , he or she may advise you for the biopsy examination of the lump after surgery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
