What Causes Small Painful Swelling In The Wrist Vein?

Hi! I don't know if I should go to see a Dr. or just rest. Here is my issue...two nights ago, I was playing around kind of rough. Later in the night, I noticed my wrist had a bubble in the vain. It is still swollen 2 days later. I have been having a dull pain in the area of the vain. When I hold my hand up towards the sky, the bubble goes away. When I hold it down, regular motion, it appears to fill back up with blood. What should I do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Respected user ,hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
*Seems Cellulitis as per your narrations & pattern of symptoms.
*Follow some steps right now & later on if required consult doctor :
- apply ice over that area 3-4 times a day
- keep the area more elevated like over 2-3 pillows or in arm rest
- avoid prolonged hanging / excess computer work
- can take analgesics like Acetaminophen is not sensitive for the same.
Hope this clears your query.
Thanks for using Health Care Magic & reviewing my answer thoroughly.
