What Causes Small Red Spots Under The Nose And Dry Skin?
Hello, from the December last year I’ve been noticing some little red spots under my nose, and dry skin. Now they are still here, but I have a lot more under my eyes as well. They don’t really hurt much, or serbs, but they never go away. I use the same moisturizer for over 10 years, and some extra on the dry spots. I don’t wear make up on daily bases. Every morning they appear more or less, on different spots. What can it be?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history of small red spots under the nose and dry skin, my treatment advice is:
1. Do not squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medicine like Levocetirizine for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotic and oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
