What Causes Small Spots Around The Eyes While Using Eye Drops For Conjunctivitis?

I am using antibiotics eye drops for conjunctivitis since Saturday. It is only slightly better but suncevsunday I have noticed small spots around the eye area and anywhere the drops may have fallen when administering it, ie, side of the face, jaw area. I just wanted to ask is there any possibility that eye drops can cause acne? And if yes what is the treatment apart from stoping using eye drops which is not an option at the moment due to the conjunctivitis . Thankyou Sarah

Hi Sarah
Thanks for posting on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
What you describe sounds like allergy to the eye drop. Stopping the treatment is the best in case of allergy but it may not be a good option without the concent of your Ophthalmologist.I will suggest you see your prescribing Doctor for evaluation and if the spots are due the drug, he may recommend an alternative.
Hope this will help
Best regards
