What Causes Small Spots In A Line At Top Of Navel?
I have 3 small spots all in a line at the top of my nave and have had them for around a month now after waking up with them one morning. They don t hurt, aren t itchy, my partner has nothing similar and I m just wondering if I need to do anything or if they will go away naturally, and if so, when?
hi. i have read your question and understand your concern.
i would like to know whether the lesions are raised or flat and of what colour.
since you say they are all in a line, they can be molluscum contagiosum (MC) or warts. MC are small pearly white raised lesions, whereas warts are pink to brown raised lesions.
both are viral infections, spreads via touch. they can heal spontaneously but the chances of spreading is higher. so i suggest you get them removed by a dermatologist. most common method employed is electrocautery which is done under local anesthesia and is an office procedure.
i suggest you see your dermatologist, get examined and then get them removed.
hope this helps. for any further questions please get back to us. thanks.
