What Causes Small Swelling Like Pimples On Male Reproductive System?

what causes small swelling like pimples on male reproductive system, is it an infection? When I am scratching myself in areas between the testis itself and the the area surrounding it, do I have an infection and how can it be fixed? I am also having pimple like structures on my face, when they are at a young stage they are very painful when you touch them and when they have rippen if you press them a whitish like structure comes out and it is thick. After a while that place remains black for a couple of months. Kindly advise on what to do as I have tried using so many drugs by applying in those areas but none of it has solved my problem.

Hi there. Small pimple like swellings may or may not be infective in origin. They may just be similar lesions on your face due to sebaceous overactivity called steatocystoma multiplex on the scrotal regions from your description of things. For best results though, please do visit your nearest dermatologist or upload photographs on this site & consult us using our premier portal 'ask-a-specialist'. For the pimples on the face, what creams have you applied hitherto? I would suggest using an 1%adapalene gel on the spots during the evenings. The swellings on the genitalia have to be seen & most likely will have to be removed surgically perhaps using a hyfrecator but it is an OPD procedure done under local anaesthesia ..so relax. However, these things are at best speculation sans visualisation so please use our HCM directory to go to adermatologist nearest you. Good Luck & here's to a clear countenance! Cheers!
