What Causes Smelly Brownish Vaginal Discharge Post Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi, after having unprotected sex about 5/19 I started having brown like discharge which, to me had a smell, which caused concern of course so a week and one day later I went in and had a culture done that came back in a week as no STI S and not pregnant, since then I started spotting not enough to soak a pad just to where I have to where a panty liner, so once again I went back to my doctor in which they did a pap smear that came back normal a week and a half later. I was told not to worry its nothing but I don t understand why I am still spotting and when I Google it keeps coming up cervical cancer. I am 36, I have had 6 children and the only thing I am taking now is polyethylene glycol 3550 everyday for constipation.

Hello,

The smelly and brown discharge matches mostly for infection but you keep saying that the culture of vaginal secretions was clear so it can't be infection. You should do a pap smear and a colposcopy. Colum uteri dysplasia is possible but cancer can't be said without a biopsy.
