What Causes Smoke Smell Sensation In Blocked Nose?

I have seen a dr. About nasal congestion, sinus infection, a cat scan was also done. I took sulfa drugs for 8 weeks. Using netty pot, using Flonase, also Benzedrex inhaler. I have been Continuously smelling smoke in my nose, it burns, and I am not around any smokers. My nasal passages seem to close with hard time breathing.
