Looking at your symptoms,you are suffering from upper
respiratory tract infection-inflammation in your nose,sinuses and throat.
Cheston cold contains Cetrizine(Antihistaminic),Phenylephrine(Decongestant) and Paracetamol(
Antipyretic).Continue taking Cheston cold,it will give you relief.
You may also find relief by taking
Analgesic and Anti-inflammatory(like Ibuprofen),Antacid(like Rantac),Mucolytic(like Ambroxol),Nasal decongestant drops(like containing
Oxymetazoline) and Saline
nasal spray.
Do steam inhalation.Do warm saline gargles.Drink lots of fluids(warm).Avoid eating cold,spicy and oily food.Avoid dust,smoke and other pollutants.Hot tea with lemon,ginger and honey will also give you relief.
If after taking the above measures for around 2-3 days,if still your symptoms are not improving,then it would be advisable to start an oral antibiotic after consulting an Otolaryngologist doctor.
