What Causes Soft Bowel Movement While On Stool Softeners?
2 years ago I had a blockage as a result of minimally invasive robotic surgery. Quick surgery by a well-respected surgeon in Springfield, MO, repaired the damage. I was told to take stool softeners to prevent constipation, which I did for a year. I stopped because my stools were very soft (not diareah) but soft movements without much notice. The color is not black , no pain or cramping. Should I see a specialist about this?
