What Causes Soft Lump Under The Foot Along With Swelling In Foot?

i have a soft lump on the bottom of my right foot that pulsates. i stepped on some glass more than 15 years ago and was cut on the arch of my foot. not a wide cut but very deep. since then i have had this lump on my foot. it has caused the veins on the top of my foot to swell up. should i be concerned? ive been to at least 6 doctors and they all had never seen this before.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have soft lump under the foot along with swelling in foot. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like corns , callus , diabetic foot and plantar Fibromas . I would suggest you to consult podiatrist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically and recommend steroid injection , orthopedic shoe and physical therapy . Doctor may also prescribe salicylic acid gel to disolve keratinization . For now give your foot proper rest and put your foot in hot water tub for 15 minutes daily with one spoon of salt in it . Do not walk bare foot and take anti inflammatory .
