Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query sensation of something to be stuck in the throat followed by vomiting is due to granular pharyngitis or upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to avoid eating and drinking acidic , spicy and hot food and beverages . Do warm saline gargles. . If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days then consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and go for swab test. Doctor may also examine with optic fiber and remove if there is any foreign body stuck. Go for sputum test as well if required and start treatment as per proper diagnosis. Sip warm water after every few minutes.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
