What Causes Sore And Heavy Breast Before Periods?

Hi I am just wondering if you could please help me? I am due to get my period this time next week, but my breasts have been really sore and heavy with sore nipples for the last week. I am on the pill, but my last period was a week early and lasted 9 days? Maybe the pill is not agreeing with me? Thanks Ruth

Hi,

The pill you are taking seems to have hormone progesterone derivative. All the symptoms you describe can be attributed as side effect of hormone. Please continue taking pill regularly as advised. It would definitely achieve its goal (to achieve for which it was given). If very much worried, meet your doctor after your periods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
