What Causes Sore And Sensitive Nipple While HPT Is Negative?

Hi! My nipples are very sensitive and sore here lately. My husband and I are very active and its a week before my period is due. We ve had sex at least 10 times since my last cycle. I took a test over a week ago but it was negative. But my nipple get to the point I have to take my bra off for comfort. Is it possible I m pregnant? There was a point last week that I had period like symptoms but I was 2 weeks before I m due to start.

Hello,

Since you were sexually over active with your partner recently and now you are due on periods, if you had unprotected sex and were not on regular contraceptives and failed to take emergency contraceptives you can be pregnant.

You are suggested to wait for a couple of days and then get pregnancy test done. If it is positive you can visit a gynecologist for confirmation and age of fetus. In case you are not pregnant, you can be tested for thyroid (T3, T4, TSH), hormonal imbalance, PCOS, anemia, etc. Stay away from stress, take up reading and adequate sleep. Avoid addictions if any.
