What Causes Sore And Swollen Tonsils With History Of Tonsillitis?
My tonsils are extremely sore and swollen. It is difficult to swallow. There are small red spots on what I believe us called the soft palate. I have a history of strep throat or tonsillitis, however I currently began practicing oral sex with a new partner so I m not sure of what is most likely the cause. There are no other symptoms

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you treat
Antiseptic Mouth Wash like chlorhexidine or Betadine twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids ,
Paracetamol for pain &
Tab Vitamin C twice daily .
