What Causes Sore And Tender Breast Without Bleeding During Periods?

I normally get sore and tender breast and nipples that last a day or so around time for my period. I have had this for over a week now and my period was due between january 29 and today (31st). I am tired, stiff, not sleeping good. Can someone please help me figure why this change or what could be going on?
