What Causes Sore Breasts And Tiredness After Removal Of IUD?
I had copper IUD for 5 years then had my son and daughter, the used mirena for another 5 years and it was removed 9/17/14. started bleeding the day after removal for approx. 9-10 days. Today it's been a month since removal and for the past week or two I've been feeling all the signs of pregnancies (sore breasts, tiredness, sleepiness, very heavy breasts and now very tender/ tingly nipples) HPT still negative and no period yet. Are these early pregnancy symptoms or just mirena crash? I've always had very early signs of pregnancy but on this one I am very confused...
Hi, you do have a hormonal disturbance that has been precipitated by withdrawal of Mirena. Nothing to do with removal of IUD. Please consult your doctor whether you need medication to bring on your periods to alleviate your symptoms--Regards
