What Causes Sore Breasts, Nausea And Heart Burn With Negative UPT?
Hi, i have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms such as sore swollen breasts, stinging nipples, nausea, heart burn and even fainted last weekend. I have very irregular periods and had bleeding for one day around 4 weeks ago, but all pregnancy tests i have done are negative. I already have one child so know what it feels like and i just feel pregnant. Im concerned about going to my gp as im worried they will dismiss it as ive had negative home test results. Could it be something other than pregnancy? Or will my gp do a blood test?
Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone which is released in increasing amounts as pregnancy progresses.
Normally this hormone can be detected by 11 to 14 days after conception. If the tests were done in this range then it is likely that they are accurate.
If they were done prior to this time, then you can consider waiting a few days and then either doing a home test or visiting your doctor for a test to be done in office.
If the test is truly negative then your symptoms may be related to other hormonal changes.
I hope this helps
