What Causes Sore Breasts While On Birth Control?

Hi, I m on the OrthoEvra birth control and I m wondering if I could be pregnant this month. I ve been getting sore breasts, not so bad, and they started 12 days before my period, so around my ovulation days. And he ejaculated in me throughout that whole week. Can I be pregnant? I ve been getting some pimples and only sore breasts. Fatigue I m assuming is because I ve started my new job and it s an early morning shift so I wake up early. I ve been taking the patch for a year now religiously.

Thanks for letting us know your health concern. As you have been regular with your hormone contraception, the chances of failure are very remote. Your symptoms are not specific for pregnancy; they can be premenstrual as well. Just wait for your period and go for further evaluation if you miss it.
