What Causes Sore Bump On Hip?

I have a bump on my butt. Stiff around it, very sore and painful, red, and the top of it looks like it may have scabbed over. Just trying to find out if it's maybe a bug bite, or from falling on ice, or what. But I've had it atleast since sunday that I noticed the pain.
