What Causes Sore Joints In Males With High Blood Pressure?

i have recently had incredibly sore joints. My hands/knuckles, hips and knees are very sore. I take lisinopril 20/25 mg two pills a day, methimazole 5mg, amolodipine besylate 10mg, aoorvastatin 20mg and metoprolol 100 two pills. I have never had any problems with joints before. My blood pressure is higher than it has been, creeping up to 160/87. I am an african american male. Thanks

Hello,

Sore joints could be related to atorvastatin. Report this side effect to your caring doctor to change therapy.

Plus, you are taking methimazole for hyperthyroid I believe. Actually, its use is also associated with arthritis. So, discuss this further with your caring doctor.

All the best.
