What Causes Sore Left Eye Leading To Redness And Pain?

Hi, I woke up with a sore left eye. It feels bruised to the touch, and is very red in the one area. I don t feel a stye, and I m certain it is not conjunctivis. I could not put my contact in as it s far too painful. Even my own tears burn, as if there is a cut or glass in my eye. But my lid feels fine. It hurts if I roll my eye back, but only in that one tender area.Could it be my contacts? I once had an issue where my eyes couldn t breathe apparently. But I wear my glasses often, and don t wear my contacts longer than 8-10 hours. Please help. Thanks! :)

As per your history it is most likely due to some sort of infection or any foreign body in your eye so I will advice you to consult any eye surgeon as early as posssible. For treatment you can take some antibiotics like cefadroxyl or cefixime after an expert opinion along with combiflam or ibugesic-plus for pain and tenderness. You can use ciplox or gatiflox eye drops to put in to your eyes. Don't rub or wash your eyes frequently.
