Hi,

How long the lump is there? Are you feeling feverish? Is the skin over the lump looking red or hot?

Acute onset sore lump with associated symptoms of weakness, nausea and diarrhea can indicate a breast abscess, especially if the above said symptoms are present. Nothing to be panicky in this case. This will disappear with a short course of antibiotics and analgesics. Your doctor will guide you.

Meanwhile you can take paracetamol or ibuprofen tablets three times a day after food for pain relief and ondansetron 8 mg for nausea/vomiting as needed(2-3 times a day). Also drink plenty of ORS solution and other fluids to avoid dehydration.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
