What Causes Sore Nipples In Women With Total Hysterectomy?

What would be a reason that my nipples are soar, to the point they hurt, I am 58 yrs old, had a full hysterectomy when I was 34 years old. Have not sexually active in a long time about 10 yrs or so ? What can I do ? Don t feel any lumps on my breast . Self check.

There are several possible causes of sore nipples. These, in your case, include direct irritation by clothing, dermatitis, infection (mastitis), hormonal changes, etc. An evaluation by your Doctor should give more information about the correct condition.
