Hello,
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query in HCM.Your symptoms are most probably suggestive of Staphylococcal infections.
It is usually caused by bacterium
Staphylococcus aureus. It may be a boil or
folliculitis.
Staphylococcal folliculitis affects hair follicles on the face,
scalp, neck, trunk or limbs but not the hands, soles and mucous membranes where there are no hair follicles. Folliculitis usually appears as a group of red bumps, which may develop into pus-filled blisters.
I would advice you to go for topical antibacterial treatment like
Fusidic acid and
mupirocin .Treatment should last up to 10 days.
To prevent getting such infections, follow these measures:
1. Regularly wash hands, avoid nose picking, nails biting and skin scratching.
2.Wear fresh, comfortable, airy clothes.
3.Do not share razors, towels, clothes, bed lining with others.
Thank you
