What Causes Sore Throat After Exposure To Chemical Fumes?
Hi! About a month ago, I was cleaning my shower and mixed Bar Keeper s friend powder (like Comet), Scrubbing Bubbles, and some mildew remover. It caused me to have a terrible sore throat. I didn t realize it was from the chemicals, I thought I had strep. I went to Dr a few days later and it was not strep. My sore throat has not went away and I have since realized what caused it. I haven t mixed any more chemicals (LESSON LEARNED). BUT, what do I need to do to help it? How long will it last? And, if I use a chemical (Ex. Mr.Clean spray cleaner on countertops), it irritates my throat...
