General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Fumes of alcohol could have caused certain symptoms related to respiratory tract.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Do salt water gargling with warm water twice daily.
2. Take steam inhalation twice daily.
3. Take mucolytic and decongestant medication containing Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine.
Avoid exposure to such an environment again without proper protection for nose and oral cavity.
Gradually, you should be able to overcome the symptoms and be back to normal.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.,
