What Causes Sore Throat After Neck X-ray?

I had some neck X-rays and some required sticking a device down my throat. Now I have had a sore throat for over a month. I got tested for strep and there is no sign of infection. I m afraid I have radiation burns on the sides of my throat. Is it possible and if so what doctor should I see?

Hello
Very unlikely that few xarys cause burns!
There are few other common causes of throat pain such as acid ruflux disease and allergy. They have to be ruled out.
Please take ranitidine and loratidine bedtime which would control both the above said conditions.

Regards
