What Causes Sore Throat After Taking Phentermine?

Hi I have been taking phentermine for about two weeks I was good at first but now I seem to be having a sore throat like something is stuck i can feel my sinus drainage down to my throat and like I have a pain in my chest at times I can t tell if it s heart burn should I be worried? I feel like my throat is going to close on me I have to take deep breaths.

Hello,

It is not related to Phentermine and may be due to conditions like strep throat, arising due to bacterial infection.

As a first line management, you can try antibiotics like Amoxiclav for symptomatic relief.

Do warm saline gargles also.
