What Causes Sore Throat Along With Body Ache And Chills?

my 16 year old son has had the following symptoms for almost 2 days now.....sore throat, left ear ache, headache on left side of head, head congestion, body aches and chills. his temp. all day has been 99.5. he has been taking Tylenol. 4 of his young cousins have come down with croup, ages 4-7 and he was around all of them this past Wednesday. what do you think it is? and should he see his pediatrician tomorrow?

Hi thank you for querry.
Upper respiratory Tract infection with otitis media.
As you mentioned the symotoms its upper respiratory tract infection which spread through eustachian tube to middle ear causing earache and headache on the same side its better to start ibuprofen and coamoxiclave along with proper hydration of the body.
