What Causes Sore Throat Along With Ear Pain?

On Friday I had a earache but I contributed to going to the mountains. I was also sneezing but I contributed it to Allergies. Now on Tuesday I have a sore throat. I really don t want to go the doctor because I am no Vacation. I also don t have a thermometer. I have been in the sauna almost everyday.

Hi,
After going through your case there is possibility of Upper respiratory tract infection.
I want to know -
1) If there presence of fever, breathing difficulties, productive cough.
2) Tends of flu (influenza) in your locality.

I would advise you
1) To consult your GP.
2) Complete blood count and Chest X ray.
Depending upon your clinical examination, test results, trends of flu in your area treatment with appropriate antibiotics or oseltamivir need to be planned.
